What Does Game of Thrones Season 8 Trailer Shows?

Have a look at some of the prominent spoilers related to GOT…

Arya Stark and the Dragons

The opening scene of the trailer features Arya running away from something with a scared expression on her face. It is not clear that she is escaping from what or whom. It seems she is in trouble for her head is bloodied. Arya and Sansa both look crypt in the season finale. The scene quickly shifts to Davos who is the right-hand man of Jon with Arya’s voiceover. Then enters Varys who comes as a skilled manipulator and as per spoilers, he has pledged his allegiance to Daenerys. He serves as her Master of Whisperers. In another shot Arya is in all different situation where she is seen holding an object, saying “I look forward to seeing this one” which shows her new mission.

Spoilers Ahead What is Khalessi up to?

It came up as a great surprise seeing Jon Sow still alive for his living was a matter of suspense. It was more shocking seeing Jon Snow and Khalessi coming together with something intriguing. We saw a shot of Cersei, who looks same with cropped hair look and smug expression with the confidence of taking away the throne. Then features the most epic shot. Guess what Khalessi is riding a horse while wearing a fierce coat as amazingly white. And who is with her? Jon Snow. Yes, Snow is with her who looks completely different with full clothes.

Here Come the Dragons

And now the gunshot we have all been eagerly waiting for. Yes, of course, Dragons. Tow dragons fly over the head of Sansa Stark as she watches them with curiosity. It is read as a moment of hesitant optimism and complete awe. This is probably the first time she is seeing the dragon flying over her head. It’s scary!

The unrecognized bastard of Robert Baratheon, Gendry is back with a little glimpse. Although with the death of Tommen, the House Baratheon was thought to be completely extinct. The next shot shows the presence of some of the favorite heroes. Are they too in the race of gunning the throne? Well, everyone’s aim seems to be the throne so eventually, all are in the same league of fighting.

Make Out Shot

Next, you will see something other than the war for there comes a steamy make-out shot between Grey Worm, the Unsullied leader, and Missandel, Khalessi’s trusted advisor and handmaiden. Involved in grand dangerous battle Jamie Lannister is spotted swinging his sword and is surrounded by fire. It is followed by a zoom in of Cersei who is holding a glass of red wine, and decent with her classic poker face and tears in her eyes.

Are they happy tears? Has she lost someone in the battle? Or she is losing the battle? Or perhaps those are happy tears? Well her reaction shows they are not happy tears for her lips quiver with fear and despair in her eyes can be seen.

Winter is Coming

Finally, the trailer ends with Jamie saying to someone, “I promised to fight for the living. I intend to keep that promise.” Maybe this is the time when all are willing to join hands together with forces against the White Walkers. The twist in the picture comes when you see Jon Snow all worried and seemingly alone. It seems he is running for his life or towards someone. And the moment seizes when you realize maybe Daenerys is in trouble. Who knows?

And then the last few seconds of the trailer. The Unsullied, with Brienne of Tarth, Gendry, and Jorah facing the death. This left the viewers with the eagerness of watching what is next in this drama.
